Dalada Waruna was a new addition to Buddhist publications. This is a unique idea which came down from the Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela. The media bureau of the Sri Dalada Maligawa wasted no time on this brilliant idea and 15000 copies were circulated on its first print in January 2006.This has now grown to 35000 copies and distributed to all Dhamma schools, Temples, government institutions, free of charge.

This tabloid has encouraged many distinguished writers to contribute with very religiously informative articles and upgraded it to a very high standard.
