<p style="margin: 6px 0px; color: rgb(20, 24, 35); font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19.3199996948242px;">After the return of the procession and (Gilanpasa) liquid offering, it is the custom that the casket of the Sacred Tooth Relic is to be taken to the Temple, at about 1 a.m. Again the tusker is dressed and the casket is taken in a simple procession from Adhahana Maluwa (Gedige Viharaya). For twelve hours the casket with the Sacred Tooth Relic is kept there, and the same rituals are carried as for the Sacred Tooth Relic for the casket wi<span class="text_exposed_show" style="display: inline;">th a proper procession and Sabda Pooja. A Basnayake Nilame is appointed for the protection of these rituals.</span></p>
